Hi, I'm Riko.

Big questions, told like a friend would.

Silver Owl Studio is a small independent studio from Belgium. We make animated YouTube channels where Riko the owl walks you through history and science, one hand-drawn picture at a time.

How we make our videos

  1. Every episode starts with a human-chosen idea and a researched script.
  2. Illustrations, narration and music are produced with the help of AI tools, then assembled into an animated video.
  3. Each video is reviewed and approved by a person before it goes online.
  4. Uploads to our own YouTube channels go through our in-house publishing tool, Silver Owl Studio, which uses the YouTube API Services.

We are open about our process: AI-assisted content is labelled where YouTube requires it.
